broke down and got one...
I've wanted one of these silly things forever. I'll let you know how it grows. If it looks like it's going to do well I'm going to go get the one for tomato plants.. and then I'll be out shopping for squirrel baffles to keep the little beggars off the fruits
these are some of the solar lights we got for the backyard. 4 different colors - pretty cool in the night
the quince is blooming
Mr Kitty is THRILLED that the snow and cold seem to be gone
Mr K strikes a pose with the magnolia
I worked outside all day today and could probably spend another week working on the yard. It's a lot of work but nice on the soul.

I used that tomato grower for peppers and cucumbers last year and this year I see they are selling ones especially designed for peppers this year.
Nice pictures... especially of the blk cat alongside of the white tree.
If you're talking about one of those topsy turvy tomato plants, we had one last year, and it didnt do to good. They need LOTS of direct sun. But what kind of plant is in the first pic?
@armnatmom - strawberries. I'm not shocked that yours didn't do well. I'm sure all the photos they show with people and their smiley faces looking at huge tomatos is bullshit. lol.. I was suckered in... I'm such a consumer
@spititoutalready - They grew nice and all, but then all of a sudden, its like they stopped growing. I didnt dare try to eat one...hahaha. Anyway this year, I think I got a little smarter. I bought a patio tomato plant. http://armnatmom.xanga.com/725124071/patio-garden/ The plant now is getting really big. I can hardly wait!
I live in an apartment, so I have to make do with what I have/or dont have. If your strawberries produce, let me know. I might try it if yours turn out okay.....
@armnatmom - I bought a patio tomato as well. We'll have to compare harvests although mine will be about a month behind you thanks to "we refuse to go into spring Wisconsin". weather for the next week is looking like 50's... not great growing conditions
