No cooking for me yesterday. Since it was just the two of us, we went out to a place that looks a lot like a hunting lodge. It's way up in the hills and a nice drive to get there. Food was pretty good but mine is better of course!

Today is a chilly day... 17 when I got up and ice out on the river. I kept forgetting to put the new de-icer in the pond so now that's got an ice layer too. Sorry fishies... we're supposed to have a few 40 degrees days so I'll be able to get it in as soon as I get a hole.

hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I missed my family a lot this year but I am SO looking forward to my trip out there for New Years. Rose Parade, Disneyland and lots of family time

The kidney failure is now really taking it's toll - his numbers are worse than ever. He ate a little food last night but this morning turns his nose up at everything. I'm not ready for this. I'm so sad and depressed and randomly start to cry all the time. My heart hurts so much

Brace yourself before looking at the image below.  A pilot at low level has no control over his aircraft. It narrowly misses a crowd gathered for the air show and slams into four buildings.  One can only imagine the horror of the occupants inside those buildings.

So.. this morning I see one of these guys racing across the backyard. He was a beauty. It's turning into my very own wild kingdom out there (saw two deer out back about a month ago or so). I was glad that Senor Kitty wasn't out there although Tia tells me that foxes normally go after rabbits & mice and that El Gato Negro Hermoso was probably safe. I don't want to test that theory with my kitty. I'd hate to have to beat a fox that was threatening to make Senor a McCat meal.

You can tell that fall is right around the corner. The squirrels, chipmunks and bluejays are all fighting for the peanuts and the squirrels are cleaning out the bird feeders daily. This, despite the fact that Paul installed squirrel baffles. They make a nice place to grab onto as they hurl themselves through the air. Effin rats anyway.

I still haven't figured out how to add a video to a post. I don't know if I'm just a total retard or if Xanga is screwing with me because I've been ignoring it for so long.
