raspberry pretzel dessert
I've made this a couple times now and it gets rave reviews.... someone has asked me for the recipe every time.
1ST LAYER:2 c. crushed pretzels
3/4 c. melted butter
3 tbsp. sugarMix together, spread in bottom of 9"x13" pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes; cool.2ND LAYER:8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
9 oz. Cool WhipBlend cream cheese and sugar; fold in Cool Whip. Spread on cooled crust.3RD LAYER:2 (3 oz.) pkgs. raspberry Jello
2 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen raspberriesOr strawberries, then use strawberry Jello.Dissolve Jello in boiling water and stir in frozen berries, when partially set, pour over 2nd layer and refrigerate.
I haven't tried strawberry yet. there is something about the tart raspberry and salty pretzels that is so yummy
